Help with budgets, currencies, backups, reminders, and your Rill data.

Email Faterubabajide97@gmail.com. Include your iOS version, Rill version, and a description of what happened. Please do not email financial records or backup files unless specifically requested and you are comfortable doing so.
Protect your data
Open Rill → Settings → Data. You can export a complete JSON backup manually or select a Files folder for automatic backups. Confirm that the exported file appears in Files before deleting or replacing the app.
Restore a backup
Open Settings → Data → Restore JSON backup and choose a Rill JSON backup. Review the date and record counts carefully: restoring replaces the current local data.
Currency conversions
Open Settings → Currencies & Rates to add a monthly exchange rate. You can enter the direction you know; Rill displays the internally stored base-currency conversion before saving.
Reminders are not appearing
Check Rill → Settings → Reminders and confirm reminders are enabled. Then check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Rill. Rill schedules reminders on device and skips a reminder when spending has already been recorded for that day.
Deleting information
Individual expenses can be deleted from Activity. To remove all budgets, expenses, categories, rates, and profile information, open Settings → Data → Delete all app data.
Compatibility
Rill 1.0 requires iOS 17 or later and is designed for iPhone.
